These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Combat Ready training environment provided by Combat Ready OÜ (“Combat Ready”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What Combat Ready is
Combat Ready is an AI-assisted training environment for leaders. You bring a real situation — a hard call, a debrief, a draft — and work it through against the Combat Ready doctrine. The service is for training and development. It supports your thinking; it does not make decisions for you, and the accountability for what you decide and do stays with you.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Combat Ready on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
Your account
You sign in with an email and password or with Google, through our authentication provider. Keep your credentials secure and don’t share your account — you are responsible for activity that happens under it. Provide accurate account information and keep it current, and tell us promptly at info@combatready.eu if you suspect unauthorized use.
Using the service responsibly
When using Combat Ready, you agree not to:
- use it unlawfully or in breach of these Terms;
- enter personal data about other people, or special-category data, contrary to our Privacy Policy;
- access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to reach, or probe, scan, or breach security;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the doctrine, prompts, or other content, or use automated means to overload the service;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties except as expressly allowed; or
- use outputs to harm others or to build a competing product.
The AI trainer and no professional advice
Combat Ready’s responses are generated by an AI model and are meant to support your own judgment. They can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuited to your situation. Combat Ready does not provide legal, medical, psychological, financial, or other professional advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional or emergency services. You are responsible for how you use the outputs. If a situation touches a specialist’s domain, take it to a specialist; in an emergency, contact the appropriate local services.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you already have in the content you enter (“your content”). You grant Combat Ready the rights needed to host, process, and transmit your content in order to operate the service — including sending it to our AI sub-processor to generate responses (see the Privacy Policy). We may use aggregated, de-identified data to run and improve the service. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not sell it.
Paid features
Parts of the service may be offered for a fee. If and when paid features are enabled:
- prices, credits, and what they cover are shown before you buy, and payments are handled by a third-party payment provider;
- credits are for use of the service, are non-transferable, are not redeemable for cash, and may expire as stated at purchase;
- organizations may be billed per seat or on another agreed basis.
Where you are a consumer, your statutory rights — including any right of withdrawal under EU law — are not affected. Because the service is digital content delivered immediately, you may be asked to agree that performance begins right away, which can end the withdrawal right for content already delivered. As of the effective date below, paid features are not yet enabled and usage is not charged until we turn billing on and tell you.
Team and organization use
If you join through an organization or a shared link, an administrator may manage your access and see participation at the level described in the Privacy Policy. Where we report group results, we surface an aggregate only once it covers a minimum number of people, so individual responses are not singled out.
Intellectual property
The service, the Combat Ready doctrine, prompts, text, design, and software are owned by Combat Ready OÜ or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose while these Terms are in force. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. “Combat Ready” and related marks are our trademarks.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, and the service may include features under active development that can change or be withdrawn.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Combat Ready is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or €100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Combat Ready at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others, to the service, or to us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — for example intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes fall to the courts of Estonia, with Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law — for example consumer-protection rules in your country of residence — provides otherwise. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the “last updated” date; significant changes will be communicated as appropriate. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
